Break a Leg!
And so I did...
I’m afraid it’s true, dear Reader. The other evening I slipped on a mossy patch and now find myself laid up in the hospital at Penne with a broken ankle. I will skip the details but the upshot is that I will be out of commission for a few weeks while I undergo surgery to repair the break and then recover.
Since this is an unexpected break (HAHAHA), I will be pausing paid subscriptions. This means the billing cycle will be frozen until further notice. Paid subscribers won’t be charged and new subscribers will not be able to pay until subscriptions are reactivated.
I’m hoping to be up and hobbling and writing again soon. I appreciate your patience and understanding.

Oh Domenica, I am so very sorry to hear this most unfortunate news. But perhaps you will discover a new recipe/dish during this "break". Someone who works in the hospital probably has a secret gem of a recipe that you should be able to charm out of them! I hope it's not too painful, and I wish you a speedy recovery. Sending happy thoughts, good vibes, and prayers. And please let us know how you're doing along the way...
