I wasn't going to read this because I'm the only coffee drinker in my household, so I didn't think I'd ever make the recipe. But I enjoyed the article very much nonetheless! It certainly made me wish I had other people to make the granita for. I'll check out some of the links, which look interesting.
Thanks for reading, Anne. If you ever do want to try the recipe, you could brew yourself a small pot of espresso, sweeten it to your liking, and freeze it in a mini loaf pan. Think about it...
These are such gorgeously rendered memories, Domenica. I found your granita recipe through Jolene's newsletter, and started making a hibiscus and lime version that I cannot stop eating. I wrote about it the other day (crediting your recipe as where I adapted mine from, of course!), but I absolutely need to try this coffee version next...I'm also a die-hard stovetop espresso drinker, and this would be the perfect use for my extra large moka pot :) Thanks for this post!
Hibiscus and lime sounds like a heavenly combination! Would you mind sharing the link here so that others can try it if they like? And thank you for the recipe credit ~ much appreciated!
This looks so good, Domenica! I also love the photo of all of your stovetop espresso pots and thanks for all the great links. The description of the assembling of the granita with the paddle of cream has me running to my Moka pot to start the process! ☕️❤️
Such a treat. I was going to include a recipe for that as well, but had such a hard time photographing the granita I didn’t want to put myself through more misery 😅 Thankfully there are plenty of good online recipes & it’s super easy to make.
YUM! Considering coffee gelato is just about my favourite flavour...this would be right up my alley! I can taste it right now!
You would love it, Phyllis. So easy to make, too.
I love this. Just beautiful!
Thank you! xx

Wonderful ~ thanks so much!
Perfect post on this hot August day. Thanks!
Thanks!
Thanks Domenica! I love coffee in almost any variation and these recipes look great.
My pleasure ~ enjoy!
I loved the granita recipe that we learned when we also made osso buco. As an iced coffee lover, can’t wait to make this coffee granita
Thank you, Jeanne! I think you’ll like this one, too, especially if you’re a coffee lover.

Thank you 😊 it really is one of my all-time favorites for summer. So refreshing.
I love a Crema di Cafe after an afternoon swim, my lips still salty from the sea.
